The SAT® Math Sections are twofold: non-calculator and calculator. The **non-calculator portion** comes first, consisting of 20 questions in 25 minutes. This portion is commonly considered the "easier math section," testing students mainly on their abilities of fundamental algebra and geometry. Next comes the **calculator potion**, coming in at a hefty 38 questions in 55 minutes. This is the "harder math section," testing students on a wide variety of mathematical and statistical concepts.
